The Eastside Eagles edged the visiting Morgan County Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Flowery Branch Falcons (Flowery Branch, GA) in a 4A Region 8 battle, on Thursday, August 21. Eastside will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Falcons come into the battle with a 4-3 record after their 16-0 league win over Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA).
