California High School Volleyball - El Modena bounced by Irvine
August 27, 2025: Orange, CA 92869 Irvine Vaqueros (Irvine, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the host El Modena Vanguards (Orange, CA), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Vaqueros (2-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Crean Lutheran (Irvine, CA). The Saints come into the non-league challenge with a 11-0 record. In their last challenge, Crean Lutheran beat Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Vanguards now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Oxford Academy for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 2.
