The crowd at Thursday's non-league contest between the Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ) and the visiting North Mustangs (Phoenix, AZ), witnessed Paradise Valley's football squad knock off North by a tally of 34-25.

The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Tolleson (Tolleson, AZ). The Wolverines enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Tolleson gained a win over Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ), 41-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Mustangs battle the Casa Grande Cougars (Casa Grande, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. North will attempt to better on its 0-1 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 30-28 non-league loss to ALA - Gilbert North (Gilbert, AZ).
