The Pisgah Bears walloped the visiting Erwin Warriors football team by a score of 40-8 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bears play the Enka Jets (Enka, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Pisgah will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Jets come into the test with a 1-1 record after their 6-0 non-league loss to Tuscola (Waynesville, NC).

With the defeat, Erwin drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Brevard (Brevard, NC) to meet the Blue Devils in a non-league test on Thursday, September 4.
