The R-S Central Hilltoppers prevailed the host Chase Trojans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league game.

Next up, the Hilltoppers confront the Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, September 2. R-S Central will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record. The Panthers enter the game with a 1-5 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Draughn (Valdese, NC).

The Trojans (0-5) will now prepare for their game against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers enter the non-league game with a 0-7 record. In their last bout, Hibriten fell by East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
