The East Burke Cavaliers volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting R-S Central Hilltoppers to 0 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Thursday.

The Cavaliers now sport a 4-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McDowell for a non-league game on Monday, September 8.

The Hilltoppers (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Hibriten (Lenoir, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league bout with a 0-9 record. In their last match, Hibriten was outscored by Draughn (Valdese, NC), 2-0, in a non-league match.
