August 28, 2025: Mt. Zion, GA 30117 Spectators at Thursday's non-league game between the Mt. Zion Eagles (Mt. Zion, GA) and the visiting Douglas County Tigers (Douglasville, GA), saw Mt. Zion's softball squad topple Douglas County by a score of 16-0.
With the triumph, Mt. Zion betters its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Landmark Christian (Fairburn, GA) to battle the War Eagles in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 2. The War Eagles go into the match with a record of 0-8. Landmark Christian lost 21-0 in their recent non-league game against King's Ridge Christian (Alpharetta, GA)
The Tigers now hold a 0-4 record. They play next when they host Pebblebrook for a non-league game on Thursday, September 4.
