Indiana High School Volleyball - Alexandria-Monroe overwhelmed by Winchester Community
August 28, 2025: Winchester, IN 47394 Winchester Community Golden Falcons (Winchester, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Alexandria-Monroe Tigers (Alexandria, IN), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Winchester Community improves its record to 6-2 on the season. The Golden Falcons travel to Frankton (Frankton, IN) to meet the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, August 30. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Frankton won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Shenandoah (Middletown, IN)
Next, the Tigers meet the Blackford Bruins (Hartford City, IN) in a Central Indiana challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Alexandria-Monroe will attempt to advance on its 3-3 season record. The Bruins go into the test with a 2-6 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Marion (Marion, IN).

The Lady Falcons traveled to Alexandria-Monroe High School on Thursday evening to face the Lady Tigers. In the Varsity Match, the Lady Falcons beat the Lady Tigers 3-0 with the following scores: 25-21, 25-20, and 25-17 that moves them to 6-2 on the season and 1-0 in conference play. In the JV Match, the Lady Falcons lost a tough, close match in two with the following scores: 23-25, 28-30. The Lady Falcons will be in action Saturday, August 30th at the Cowan Invite.
