August 28, 2025: Walnut Ridge, AR 72476 The Walnut Ridge Bobcats topped the visiting Newport Greyhounds volleyball squad by a final score of 3-1 in Thursday's league game.
Next up, the Bobcats face the Hoxie Mustangs (Hoxie, AR) in a 3A 3 game, on Thursday, September 4. Walnut Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record.
With the loss, Newport drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Greyhounds travel to Bald Knob (Bald Knob, AR) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, September 2. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 0-3. Bald Knob lost 3-0 in their recent league game against Riverview (Searcy, AR)
