Ohio High School Soccer - Garfield held off by Alliance
August 29, 2022: Garrettsville, OH 44231 In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting Alliance Aviators soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Garfield G-Men.
The Aviators (3-4) will now prepare for their bout against McKinley (Canton, OH). The Bulldogs enter the non-league bout with a 0-4 record. In their last bout, McKinley was nipped by Green (Uniontown, OH), 10-0, in a league bout.
In their next game, the G-Men battle the Salem Quakers (Salem, OH) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, September 1. Garfield will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Quakers enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 4-2 non-league win over Columbiana (Columbiana, OH).
