August 29, 2023: Broadway, VA 22815 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) and the visiting Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA), saw Broadway's volleyball squad beat Eastern Mennonite by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Broadway upgrades its record to 4-3 on the year. The Gobblers travel to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA) to play the Little Giants in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Little Giants go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Waynesboro lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against East Rockingham (Elkton, VA)
The Flames now own a 1-1 record. They play next when they host Mountain View Christian Academy for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Eastern Mennonite will play a Conquerors squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Park View (Sterling, VA). The Conquerors record now stands at 1-0.
