Virginia High School Volleyball - Broadway over Eastern Mennonite
October 21, 2023: Harrisonburg, VA 22802 In Saturday's non-league contest, the Broadway Gobblers (Broadway, VA) volleyball squad were winner over the host Eastern Mennonite Flames (Harrisonburg, VA), by a margin of 3-0.
Next up, the Gobblers battle the Harrisonburg Blue Streaks (Harrisonburg, VA) in a Valley contest, on Monday, October 23. Broadway will attempt to better on its 8-13 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the contest with a 8-11 record after their 3-0 league win over William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA).
With the loss, Eastern Mennonite moves to 10-6 on the year. The Flames travel to Covenant (Charlottesville, VA) to battle the Eagles in a VISAA Blue Ridge contest on Monday, October 23. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 15-5. Covenant won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA)
