Georgia High School Softball - Banks County bounces Commerce
August 29, 2024: Commerce, GA 30529 The Banks County Leopards (Homer, GA) softball routed the host Commerce Tigers (Commerce, GA), 13-0 in Thursday's league outing.
The Leopards now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elbert County for a 1A D-I Region 8 outing on Tuesday, September 3. Banks County will encounter a Blue Devils team coming off a 9-8 league win over Rabun County (Tiger, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-7.
With the loss, Commerce moves to 3-10 on the season. The Tigers travel to Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA) to encounter the Storm in a 1A D-I Region 8 outing on Tuesday, September 3. The Storm come into the outing with a record of 5-8. Providence Christian Academy lost 8-1 in their recent non-league outing against Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA)
