The Taft Senators got by the host Archbishop Alter Knights football team by a score of 33-27 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Senators face the Chaminade Julienne Catholic Eagles (Dayton, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. Taft will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles go into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 36-7 non-league loss to Withrow (Cincinnati, OH).
