August 29, 2025: West Point, VA 23181 The West Point Pointers football squad scored 46 points and limited the visiting Colonial Beach Drifters to 6 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Pointers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rappahannock for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. West Point will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 65-27 non-league win over Nandua (Onley, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Colonial Beach drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Drifters host Mathews (Mathews, VA) to face the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Mathews lost 46-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cumberland (Cumberland, VA)
