Pennsylvania High School Football - Derry crushed by Freeport

August 29, 2025: Freeport, PA 16229

The Freeport Yellowjackets football squad scored 49 points and limited the visiting Derry Trojans to 6 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now hold a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Quaker Valley for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Freeport will meet a Quakers squad coming off a 20-13 non-league win over Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Quakers record now stands at 2-0.

With the defeat, Derry drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA) to meet the Lancers in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 1-1. Deer Lakes lost 35-14 in their recent non-league challenge against South Park (South Park, PA)
