North Carolina High School Football - Middle Creek tops Willow Spring

August 29, 2025: Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526

The Middle Creek Mustangs football squad scored 45 points and limited the host Willow Spring Storm to 14 in the Mustangs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Garner for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Middle Creek will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 42-7 non-league win over Laney (Wilmington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 1-1.

With the defeat, Willow Spring drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Storm travel to Cary (Cary, NC) to meet the Imps in a non-league test on Friday, September 5. The Imps come into the test with a record of 2-0. Cary won 28-6 in their recent non-league test against Athens Drive (Raleigh, NC)
