August 29, 2025: St. Peter, MN 56082 The Waseca Bluejays football squad scored 7 points and limited the host St. Peter Saints to 6 in the Bluejays non-league triumph on Friday.
The Bluejays now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Belle Plaine for a Southeast Central - Red challenge on Friday, September 5. Waseca will face a Tigers team coming off a 28-27 non-league loss to Central (Norwood-Young America, MN). The Tigers record now stands at 0-1.
The Saints (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Worthington (Worthington, MN). The Trojans go into the Southeast Central - Red challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Worthington was edged by Fairmont/Martin Luther (Fairmont, MN), 47-0, in a league challenge.
