August 29, 2025: Laveen, AZ 85339 The Desert Edge Scorpions volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Heritage Academy Heroes to 0 in the Scorpions non-league triumph on Friday.
The Scorpions now have a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Carl Hayden Community for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 30. Desert Edge will play a Falcons team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Independence (Glendale, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Heritage Academy drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Heroes travel to ALA - Ironwood (Ironwood, AZ) to play the Warriors in a non-league game on Saturday, August 30. The Warriors enter the game with a record of 1-0. ALA - Ironwood won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against ALA - Mesa North (Mesa, AZ)
