The Desert Edge Scorpions (Goodyear, AZ) volleyball tipped the visiting Buckeye Hawks (Buckeye, AZ), 3-2 in Monday's league match.

Next up, the Scorpions battle the Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A - Desert West match, on Wednesday, October 22. Desert Edge will attempt to move on its 12-11 season record. The Trojans enter the match with a 7-12 record after their 3-0 league loss to Canyon View (Waddell, AZ).

The Hawks now own a 12-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Youngker for a 5A - Desert West battle on Wednesday, October 22. Buckeye will encounter a Roughriders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ). The Roughriders record now stands at 10-11.
