The Desert Edge Scorpions volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Paradise Valley Trojans to 2 in the Scorpions league triumph on Thursday.

The Scorpions now possess a 9-7 record. They play next when they travel to Youngker for a 5A - Desert West outing on Monday, September 29. Desert Edge will play a Roughriders team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Buckeye (Buckeye, AZ). The Roughriders record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Paradise Valley drops to 6-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Verrado (Buckeye, AZ) to play the Vipers in a 5A - Desert West outing on Wednesday, October 1. The Vipers come into the outing with a record of 10-8.
