Iowa High School Football - AHSTW holds off Tri-Center
August 30, 2024: Neola, IA 51559 The AHSTW Vikings (Avoca, IA) football tipped the host Tri-Center Trojans (Neola, IA), 26-21 in Friday's non-league outing.
The Vikings now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Riverside for a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. AHSTW will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 68-0 non-league win over West Monona (Onawa, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Tri-Center drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Treynor (Treynor, IA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league outing on Friday, September 6. The Cardinals come into the outing with a record of 1-0. Treynor won 28-23 in their recent non-league outing against St. Albert (Council Bluffs, IA)
