The Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles volleyball squad (San Juan Capistrano, CA), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA)

With the win, Portola improves its record to 9-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Fullerton (Fullerton, CA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. The Indians go into the test with a record of 7-0. Fullerton won 3-1 in their recent league test against Segerstrom (Santa Ana, CA)
