The Capistrano Valley Christian Eagles volleyball squad (San Juan Capistrano, CA), was defeated 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA)

With the win, Sage Hill improves its record to 6-5 on the season. The Lightning host Northwood (Irvine, CA) to meet the Timberwolves in a Pacific Coast challenge on Monday, September 8. The Timberwolves enter the challenge with a record of 11-4. Northwood won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Woodbridge (Irvine, CA)

Next, the Eagles meet the Foothill Knights (Santa Ana, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Capistrano Valley Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
