August 29, 2025: Mission Viejo, CA 92692 Sage Hill Lightning (Newport Beach, CA) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Capistrano Valley Cougars (Mission Viejo, CA), 3-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sage Hill improves its record to 5-5 on the season. The Lightning host Capistrano Valley Christian (San Juan Capistrano, CA) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, September 3. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 1-7.
Next, the Cougars face the University Trojans (Irvine, CA) in a non-league test, on Thursday, September 4. Capistrano Valley will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record.
