Iowa High School Volleyball - Winterset can't get by Red Oak
August 30, 2025: Red Oak, IA 51566 Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) followers left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting Winterset Huskies (Winterset, IA), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Red Oak upgrades its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Atlantic (Atlantic, IA) to play the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 2. The Trojans come into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Atlantic lost 2-1 in their recent non-league challenge against East Mills (Malvern, IA)
Next, the Huskies play the Carroll Tigers (Carroll, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 2. Winterset will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Underwood (Underwood, IA).
