August 30, 2025: Red Oak, IA 51566 The Red Oak Tigers (Red Oak, IA) volleyball held off the visiting Roland-Story Norsemen (Story City, IA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to Atlantic for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 2. Red Oak will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to East Mills (Malvern, IA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-2.
With the loss, Roland-Story drops to 7-2 on the campaign. The Norsemen travel to Saydel (Des Moines, IA) to confront the Eagles in a Heart of Iowa match on Tuesday, September 2. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 1-2. Saydel won 2-0 in their recent non-league match against Hoover (Des Moines, IA)
