The Tigers (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Atlantic (Atlantic, IA). The Trojans go into the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, Atlantic dropped by East Mills (Malvern, IA), 2-1, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Little Cyclones meet the Greene County Rams (Jefferson, IA) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, September 2. Ames will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Rams enter the contest with a 0-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Dallas Center-Grimes (Dallas Center, IA).
