Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Sanger Indians (Sanger, TX) and the host Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX), observed Sanger's volleyball team top Sherman by a score of 2-0.

With the win, Sanger improves its record to 17-10 on the season. The Indians travel to Benbrook (Benbrook, TX) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 2. The Bobcats go into the battle with a record of 12-10. Benbrook lost 2-1 in their recent non-league battle against Meridian (Meridian, TX)
