The South Lyon East Cougars football team (South Lyon, MI), was ripped 44-7 in Thursday's league challenge with the host Milford Mavericks (Highland, MI)

The Mavericks (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Divine Child (Dearborn, MI). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Divine Child trounced Cranbrook Kingswood (Bloomfield Hills, MI), 62-14, in a non-league challenge.
