The South Mecklenburg Sabres volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Berry Cardinal to 1 in the Sabres league victory on Thursday.

The Sabres now have a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Palisades for a So Meck 4A game on Tuesday, September 5. South Mecklenburg will meet a Pumas team coming off a 3-2 league win over Myers Park (Charlotte, NC). The Pumas record now stands at 5-1.
