Kentucky High School Volleyball - Marshall County over Carlisle County
August 31, 2023: Bardwell, KY 42023 The crowd at Thursday's non-league bout between the Marshall County Marshals (Benton, KY) and the host Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY), saw Marshall County's volleyball squad beat Carlisle County by a tally of 3-0.
With the win, Marshall County upgrades its record to 3-3 on the year. The Marshals travel to Murray (Murray, KY) to play the Tigers in a District 4 bout on Tuesday, September 5. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Murray lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Calloway County (Murray, KY)
The Comets now own a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Paducah Tilghman for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 5. Carlisle County will play a Blue Tornado squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Union County (Morganfield, KY). The Blue Tornado record now stands at 3-9.
