August 31, 2024: Parkersburg, IA 50665 Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Aplington-Parkersburg Falcons (Parkersburg, IA) and the visiting Pocahontas Indians (Pocahontas, IA), observed Aplington-Parkersburg's volleyball team top Pocahontas by a count of 2-0.
The Falcons (5-0) will now prepare for their contest against Bishop Garrigan (Algona, IA). The Golden Bears enter the contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Bishop Garrigan was knocked off by Belmond-Klemme (Belmond, IA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Indians battle the Sioux Central Rebels (Sioux Rapids, IA) in a contest, on Tuesday, September 3. Pocahontas will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record. The Rebels enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to West Bend-Mallard (West Bend, IA).
