August 31, 2024: Hawarden, IA 51023 The West Monona Spartans (Onawa, IA) volleyball knocked off the host West Sioux Falcons (Hawarden, IA), 2-0 in Saturday's league bout.
The Spartans now possess a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Odebolt Arthur Battle Creek Ida Grove for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 3. West Monona will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Sheldon (Sheldon, IA). The Falcons record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, West Sioux drops to 0-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Gehlen Catholic (Le Mars, IA) to play the Jays in a challenge on Thursday, September 5. The Jays come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Gehlen Catholic won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against George-Little Rock (George, IA)
