The Greater Latrobe Wildcats football squad scored 36 points and restricted the host Franklin Regional Panthers to 33 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Hempfield Area nipped Connellsville (Connellsville, PA), 49-0, in a non-league challenge.

The Panthers now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Connellsville for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 9. Franklin Regional will meet a Falcons team coming off a 49-0 non-league loss to Hempfield Area (Greensburg, PA). The Falcons record now stands at 1-1.
