Golden Valley Grizzlies (Santa Clarita, CA) fans left the game satisfied Friday as they observed their football team run past the visiting Quartz Hill Royals (Quartz Hill, CA), 16-7 in a non-league test.

With the win, Golden Valley improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Garfield (Los Angeles, CA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league test on Friday, September 9. The Bulldogs go into the test with a record of 2-1. Garfield won 49-0 in their recent non-league test against Jefferson (Los Angeles, CA)

With the loss, Quartz Hill moves to 0-3 on the season. The Royals host Palmdale (Palmdale, CA) to confront the Falcons in a Golden test on Thursday, September 15. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 1-1.
