In Friday's league match, the host Valencia Vikings football squad scored a good 42-14 victory over the Golden Valley Grizzlies.

In their next game, the Vikings clash with the West Ranch Wildcats (Valencia, CA) in a Foothill match, on Friday, October 7. Valencia will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 7-0 record after their 20-14 league win over Hart (Newhall, CA).

The Grizzlies (5-2) will now prepare for their match against Canyon (Canyon Country, CA). The Cowboys enter the Foothill match with a 3-3 record. In their last match, Canyon ran past Castaic (Castaic, CA), 17-3, in a league match.
