The Montour Spartans football squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Moon Area Tigers to 2 in the Spartans non-league win on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to South Fayette for a non-league battle on Friday, September 9. Montour will play a Lions squad coming off a 40-7 non-league loss to West Allegheny (Imperial, PA). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.
