New Mexico High School Soccer - Gallup overwhelmed by Santa Teresa
September 2, 2022: Gallup, NM 87301 The crowd at Friday's non-league test between the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) and the host Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM), saw Santa Teresa's soccer squad triumph over Gallup by a margin of 10-0.
The Desert Warriors now sport a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Deming for a non-league test on Friday, September 2. Santa Teresa will meet a Wildcats squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-4.
With the loss, Gallup drops to 0-4 on the season. The Bengals travel to Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM) to meet the Bears in a non-league test on Friday, September 2.
