September 2, 2022: Deming, NM 88030 Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Desert Warriors confront the Hatch Valley Bears (Hatch, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 3. Santa Teresa will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Organ Mountain (Las Cruces, NM).
The Wildcats now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mayfield for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 6. Deming will confront a Trojans team coming off a 1-1 non-league Clovis (Clovis, NM). The Trojans record now stands at 1-4.
