New Mexico High School Soccer - Deming nudges Silver
October 8, 2022: Deming, NM 88030 Deming Wildcats (Deming, NM) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM), 1-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Wildcats confront the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) in a 4A District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, October 11. Deming will attempt to move on its 5-10 season record. The Desert Warriors enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 1-0 league win over Chaparral (Chaparral, NM).
The Fighting Colts now possess a 3-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chaparral for a 4A District 3 challenge on Tuesday, October 11. Silver will confront a Lobos team coming off a 1-0 league loss to Santa Teresa (Santa Teresa, NM). The Lobos record now stands at 4-9.
