The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Madison County Tigers (Gurley, AL) and the visiting Central Wildcats (Florence, AL), saw Madison County's volleyball squad nip Central by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Madison County upgrades its record to 13-6 on the year. The Tigers travel to Brooks (Killen, AL) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 5-5. Brooks lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Grissom (Huntsville, AL)

The Wildcats now own a 11-4 record. They play next when they travel to Huntsville for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 2. Central will play a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Kate Duncan Smith DAR (Grant, AL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-2.
