September 2, 2025: Jesup, GA 31545 In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Wayne County Yellow Jackets (Jesup, GA) softball squad the visiting Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA), by a score of 3-0.
The Yellow Jackets (8-4) will now prepare for their bout against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league bout with a 5-2 record. In their last bout, Richmond Hill tipped Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA), 2-1, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) in a 2A Region 3 bout, on Thursday, September 4. Appling County will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 3-5 record after their 8-0 league loss to Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA).
