The Trinity Christian Lions triumphed over the visiting Fayette County Tigers softball squad by a final score of 12-3 in Tuesday's league battle.

The Lions now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host LaGrange for a 3A Region 2 battle on Thursday, September 4. Trinity Christian will confront a Grangers team coming off a 9-2 league win over Upson-Lee (Thomaston, GA). The Grangers record now stands at 6-3.

With the loss, Fayette County moves to 3-8 on the year. The Tigers host Mary Persons (Forsyth, GA) to meet the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 2 challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 7-4. Mary Persons won 3-1 in their recent league challenge against Whitewater (Fayetteville, GA)
