The University Bulldogs softball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting Sterling Tigers to 1 in the Bulldogs league win on Tuesday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pueblo South for a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. University will encounter a Colts team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Pueblo Central (Pueblo, CO). The Colts record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Sterling moves to 2-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Wray/Yuma (Wray, CO) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league outing on Friday, September 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-5. Wray/Yuma lost 12-0 in their recent non-league bout against Forge Christian (Arvada, CO)
