Arizona High School Volleyball - Cesar Chavez overwhelmed by Liberty
September 2, 2025: Peoria, AZ 85383 Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ) boosters left the game pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Cesar Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Lions (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Maryvale was beaten by Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Champions meet the Dobson Mustangs (Mesa, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 4. Cesar Chavez will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Camelback (Phoenix, AZ).
