In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the host Florence Gophers volleyball team scored a 3-0 victory over the San Tan Foothills Sabercats.

The Gophers (6-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Show Low (Show Low, AZ). The Cougars enter the non-league challenge with a 8-2 record. In their last test, Show Low was defeated by Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ), 1-0, in a non-league test.

The Sabercats now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ray for a non-league test on Thursday, September 4. San Tan Foothills will face a Bearcats squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Globe (Globe, AZ). The Bearcats record now stands at 1-1.
