Arizona High School Volleyball - South Mountain can't get by Gila Ridge
September 2, 2025: Phoenix, AZ 85040 Gila Ridge Hawks (Yuma, AZ) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), 3-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Gila Ridge improves its record to 2-1 on the season. The Hawks host Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ) to meet the Jaguars in a non-league challenge on Thursday, September 4. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Boulder Creek won 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ)
Next, the Jaguars meet the West Point Dragons (Avondale, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 9. South Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 2-1 season record. The Dragons go into the test with a 1-3 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Williams Field (Gilbert, AZ).
