The South Newton Rebels volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Rensselaer Central Bombers to 0 in the Rebels non-league victory on Tuesday.

Next up, the Rebels confront the Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN) in a Midwest Athletic match, on Thursday, September 4. South Newton will attempt to move on its 7-4 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 9-1 record after their 3-0 league win over North Newton (Morocco, IN).

The Bombers (7-3) will now prepare for their bout against Twin Lakes (Monticello, IN). The Indians come into the Hoosier bout with a 7-4 record. In their last bout, Twin Lakes fell by North Judson-San Pierre (North Judson, IN), 3-1, in a non-league bout.
