Georgia High School Softball - Providence Christian Academy held off by Commerce
September 3, 2024: Lilburn, GA 30047 The Commerce Tigers got by the host Providence Christian Academy Storm softball squad by a count of 4-3 in Tuesday's league challenge.
Next, the Tigers meet the Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy (Winder, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 8 challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Commerce will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 8-0 league loss to Banks County (Homer, GA).
The Storm (5-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Elbert County (Elberton, GA). The Blue Devils go into the 1A D-I Region 8 challenge with a 5-8 record. In their last challenge, Elbert County was nudged by Banks County (Homer, GA), 12-2, in a league challenge.
